CBRE Ontario uses CanvasTac to Makeover Office
CBRE, a globally integrated commercial real estate and investment services firm was looking to update the walls of their London, Ontario office. CBRE decided to use CanvasTac to decorate 5 walls in the office.
CanvasTac is a 17 mil canvas with a repositionable adhesive. It is a Category VI Type III Class A wallcovering and is eco-friendly, not containing any PVC, phthalate or lead.
Window Film Systems, a distributor of Presto’s repositionable wall media printed and installed the project for CBRE. CBRE used typographical satellite images of the city as well as cityscapes and historical photos of London, Ontario to decorate their office. The wall murals were printed with a UV printer and installed using the butt seam method, “Considering CBRE deals with commercial real estate, the large topographical map of the city provided a functional purpose alongside a pleasing aesthetic. Thanks to Presto both the print job and install were a well-regarded success. As a result, the office has been transformed into a more vibrant work space” says Colin Chalmers of Window Film Systems. CanvasTac, a polyester canvas does not peel, shrink or curl, allowing the butt seam method to work perfectly.
