Accident Wrap for Towing and Collision Applications
Accident Wrap is a durable and flexible polyethylene film with a water-based acrylic adhesive coating on one side. It can be used to quickly encase a wrecked vehicle, ensuring loose parts stay in place during transportation from the accident site to the body shop or junkyard.
Towing and wrecker services rely on our accident wrap, also called crash wrap, to seal openings created by a collision and protect vehicle interiors from moisture, dirt, and other contaminants. The high-tack film can also stabilize cracked glass surfaces, such as windshields and windows, keeping broken glass in place so it doesn’t shift or scatter during transit.

AUTOMOTIVE PROTECTION FILM FAQS
Presto Tape’s automotive protection films use a polyethylene film base with a water-based acrylic adhesive on one side. The formulation varies by surface, since carpet, glass, and painted metal each need different adhesion levels to protect without leaving residue behind. Accident Wrap’s high-tack adhesive keeps parts firmly in place. Due to the aggressive bond this application requires, it is not offered as a clean removal film.
