What Is Low Tack Tape?

Low tack tape is a tape or surface protection film design with a lower adhesion tack level. A low tack tape is ideal for surfaces that need a lower tack bond to firmly adhere to the surfaces. Surfaces like textured metal actually hold better with a lower tack adhesive because the surface texture provides a natural grip, so a lower tack adhesive is all that’s needed, a stronger tack level would over-bond and become difficult to remove.
